May and June were incredibly busy for me this year and I had declared myself “fully booked”, but when Hailey, wedding co-ordinator at Little Cornish Wedding Company approached me and asked me to be involved in the launch of Trefusis Estate as a wedding venue I couldn’t help but bite her hand off!
Trefusis is a really special place offering brides and grooms the most beautiful backdrop against which to create the wedding of their dreams. As well as panoramic views over Falmouth Bay, the estate boasts beautiful woodland with one of the most breathtaking bluebell displays I have ever seen.
I completely fell in love with Hailey’s concept for the day: An incredible event designed to showcase the beauty and versatility of the space at Trefusis, pulling together some of the creme de la creme of Cornwall’s wedding suppliers. As well as treating guests to a rustic tipi feast and cocktails in the sunshine, Hailey had also planned a styled bridal shoot in the morning so that the day would run virtually like a real wedding: My role was to document the entire day, from models being prepped by hair and makeup, followed by a photoshoot in the beautiful bluebell woods, through to the launch event in the afternoon.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Hailey for asking me to be a part of such a magical and memorable day, it was an absolute dream and an honour to work alongside so many fantastic local suppliers.
