Lucy & Liam’s big day was my first Knightor Winery wedding and what a beautiful occasion it was! We completely lucked out with the weather – it was the most spectacularly still, warm spring day which meant that we could enjoy the sun-soaked courtyard and wonderful scenery all day long.
The ceremony itself was short but incredibly sweet and very emotional – as soon as Lucy entered the room there did not appear to be a dry eye! She was an incredibly stunning bride!
The couple have two gorgeous daughters who were as good as gold all day. There was no shortage of playmates for them at the wedding – I think there was around 25 kids in total. The day had been carefully planned to keep things relaxed and family friendly – speeches were done and dusted before dinner, which came in the form of a really delicious barbecue (with the best array of homemade sauces ever!). The kids were very well catered for with lawn games and play equipment to keep everyone entertained.
By the time the evening guests began to arrive it was time for the Straw Dogs to take to the stage and get everybody on the dance floor – which didn’t take long!
Congratulations Lucy & Liam, it was so special to be a part of your wonderful wedding day!
